Walk to End Alzheimer's in Bowie, MD
The 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place in Bowie, MD at the Prince George’s Stadium October 3, 2015 beginning at 8:30am, ceremony at 9:30am and walk to occur at 10:00am. According to ALZ.org Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms usually develop slowly and get worse over time, becoming severe enough to interfere with daily tasks.
I personally have lost family members to Alzheimer’s disease. I was stationed in Wyoming at the time and my family called to say that my grandfather was increasingly getting worse so I headed back home to Miami to say my goodbyes. At the time he really didn’t recall me but called my brother Sherman. My grandfather’s brother had Alzheimer’s too.
So join me in Bowie, MD for the 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. It will be a great time for all. There is no fee to walk but a generous donation would be wonderful. For further information about this event you may visit their website by clicking here.
